Rural Impact Award Recipients

Two local leaders will be recognized for their outstanding efforts to improve the quality of life in rural communities during the 10th Annual Maryland Rural Summit this week. Charlie Ross, President and CEO of the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce will be presented with the Outstanding Rural Economic Development Award. Rodney Glotfelty, Garrett County Health Officer, will be presented with the Outstanding Rural Health Achievement Award.
