Oakland's Main Street Program is running a Fall and Winter Artwork Contest in order to develop a stock of artwork and photography that they can use for the promotion of the Town of Oakland and its Main Street Program. They are looking for scenes that depict Oakland and the surrounding area at its finest in the fall and winter. The fall deadline will be on December 15, 2007. The best of the entries will be displayed and presented on December 22nd at the last weekend of Oakland's Christmas Festival. The Winter contest will continue into sprint with the deadline to be determined. Photography entries must include the photo and the digital image on CD. Other artwork requires the submittal of the original art board. All entries become the property of Oakland Main Street. Artist recognition will be noted whenever the artwork or photography will be used in promotional materials. For more information or to submit entries contact Jack L.
